Moto taxi: a helmet on every trip
- The driver wears a helmet and gives you a clean passenger helmet. There are no rides without a helmet.
- Wear a helmet that fits and fasten the strap. Confirm it in the app with "I'm wearing the helmet".
- If you are not offered a helmet or it is damaged, do not start the ride and report it in the app.
Rules for moto passengers
- One passenger per motorcycle. Children are not carried as passengers.
- Hold on to the driver or the grab handle, keep your feet on the footrests and lean with the driver in turns.
- Large heavy luggage, open shoes and long loose clothing are dangerous.
- If the driver speeds, uses the phone or rides dangerously, ask them to stop and report it in the app.
Mini taxi (small car)
- No helmet in a Mini taxi: fasten your seat belt as soon as you get in — in the front and in the back.
- Up to 2 passengers per car. Small children need a child seat.
- Get out only on the pavement side and only once the car has fully stopped; look behind you before opening the door.
- Before you get in, check the car's make, colour and number plate in the app.
- If the driver speeds, uses the phone or drives dangerously, ask them to stop and report it in the app.
Safety features in the app
- Verified drivers: driving licence, ID and motorcycle or car documents are checked.
- Check the driver and vehicle: before you get in, compare the name, photo and number plate in the app.
- SOS button: during a trip it alerts your emergency contacts and the Aloo team with your location.
- Share your trip: send a live tracking link to someone you trust.
- Report: report a driver during or after the trip; in the chat you can also use the flag button.
