Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the "Aloo!" and "Aloo! Sürücü" apps, the aloobox.com website and the Aloo Business panel (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Aloo. By using the Service you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
1. The Service
Aloo is a platform for ordering moto taxi rides and parcel courier deliveries in Baku. Aloo connects customers with independent driver partners. Availability depends on area, time and free drivers.
2. Account
- You need a valid Azerbaijani (+994) phone number; log-in is verified with an SMS code.
- You must be 18 (or have a parent's consent) to order; drivers must be at least 18 and hold a valid driving licence.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Never share your code.
3. Orders, price and payment
- An estimated price is shown before you order; the final price may change because of the route, waiting, stops or promo codes.
- At the moment payment is cash only, paid to the driver when the ride/delivery is completed. Online payment methods may be added later.
- Cancellation, waiting and refund rules are set out in the Cancellation & refund policy.
- Promo codes (e.g. ALOO50) apply under their own conditions and may be changed or withdrawn.
4. Courier: prohibited items
You may not send illegal, dangerous, flammable or explosive goods, weapons, drugs, cash, live animals or anything else the law prohibits. A driver may refuse a parcel. The sender is responsible for the contents and for correct receiver details. The "Insured" option applies up to the stated amount.
5. Conduct
Be respectful — no insults, harassment or discrimination; drivers must follow traffic rules and wear a helmet. Follow the Community guidelines in chat and reviews; accounts that break the rules may be suspended or closed. On a moto ride the passenger must wear a helmet — see Safety.
6. Driver partners
Drivers are independent partners, not employees of Aloo. Drivers are responsible for accurate documents, the condition of their vehicle and legal compliance. Details: Driver & courier terms. Contact: drivers@aloobox.com.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aloo is not liable for indirect losses, delays or the acts of third parties. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
8. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or at aloobox.com/delete-account.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes are first handled by negotiation via support@aloobox.com, then by the competent courts of Baku.
